My service was disconnected before due date of July 5th 2022. I was charged for 2 modems when i only have 1.
I had service issues from the 1st day which was 4 years ago. I had 4 different service techs come out and 3 couldn't find an issue. The 4th rewired and replaced my modem. I found out today that my lifeline discount hasnt been used except for like 3 times in the history of my 4 years with vyve.
I never got any notification of it ending or an issue. The rep had it set up and everything was fine. Now ive been overcharged for years and have an unused benefit. My vyve bill was almost $400 today.
They charged for 2 modems. Full price service. Late fees. Vyve really needs to get it together cuz they r a sorry business.
I will NOT be a customer. Watch ur bills and dont do auto payments!!

Vyve Broadband has opted to charge me a modem rental fee on a modem I purchased last year April, 2021. As of December 2020, fees charged to customers using their own modems is illegal.
They made this change to my account without my knowledge or consent. I contacted billing and was told to contact tech support. Tech support said tier 2 would contact me but did not. They are claiming my modem is their property.
I was required to send them my receipt of purchase. I did. They claimed to not receive it and told me to send it again. I did.
Modem charge of $13.99 has been added to my bill. Nothing is resolved and I will be contacting the FCC and FTC in the am to file formal complaints.
Preferred solution: Remove the rental fee. I own the modem. Ad hoc fee charges for my own property place them in breach of law.
Constant outages
Vyve bought out Northland a few years back and it's been a disaster ever since. I am actively looking for a new provider.
Internet, cable, phone all go out at least once a month if not more.
Customer service is a joke. Sure the people themselves try to be as helpful as they can, but their bosses restrict them with what they can actually do.
No attempts are made to improve service.
My cable box has had to be replaced twice in just six months because they only buy cheap poorly built one's.
Outages are often random too. It will go out at any time of day and remain off for hours until it magically comes back.
I have lost my patience and I regret that I took my anger out on an innocent woman at customer service.
And the same thing will happen to you, you'll find yourself angry and mean after a few months with this pitiful excuse for a company.
