A dissatisfied customer

We have had vyve broadband internet for 5 years, very few problems until now! A neighbor had vyve installed the other day a tech somehow disconnected us! We called vyve someone was coming on Thursday no show! No call? I asked to talk to manager or supervisor no response?? This wasnt our fault! Vyve you arent showing good business practice! Very disappointed customer!!!

Installation was supposed to be today

I called wednesday and had service scheduled for saturday (today). Tech calls yesterday and want to come out and install i say ok. They brought two bad modems and were supposed to return today between 1-3. No one has showed uo. I called and we wernt on there schedule for install. The lady i called didnt care about are issues and set install dat for tuesday. I called back and destiny resolved things that were wrong with my account and reched out to the regional supervisor and a service person with our issues. Im now waiting for the call. If all goes well ill be back to write resolution

Report problems locally and always excuses and never gets problems resolved. Always excuses or will get the cable back up and only have a couple stations that work

Overcharged

My service was disconnected before due date of July 5th 2022. I was charged for 2 modems when i only have 1.

I had service issues from the 1st day which was 4 years ago. I had 4 different service techs come out and 3 couldn't find an issue. The 4th rewired and replaced my modem. I found out today that my lifeline discount hasnt been used except for like 3 times in the history of my 4 years with vyve.

I never got any notification of it ending or an issue. The rep had it set up and everything was fine. Now ive been overcharged for years and have an unused benefit. My vyve bill was almost $400 today.

They charged for 2 modems. Full price service. Late fees. Vyve really needs to get it together cuz they r a sorry business.

I will NOT be a customer. Watch ur bills and dont do auto payments!!

We have been dropping 4-5x per day. And no one from vyve will check it out or have any responses etc. We have a contract with them for fiber services. They talk alot of positive to sell their product but poor communication and no follow thru do not recommend buyer beware.

Vyve Broadband has opted to charge me a modem rental fee on a modem I purchased last year April, 2021. As of December 2020, fees charged to customers using their own modems is illegal.

They made this change to my account without my knowledge or consent. I contacted billing and was told to contact tech support. Tech support said tier 2 would contact me but did not. They are claiming my modem is their property.

I was required to send them my receipt of purchase. I did. They claimed to not receive it and told me to send it again. I did.

Modem charge of $13.99 has been added to my bill. Nothing is resolved and I will be contacting the FCC and FTC in the am to file formal complaints.

Preferred solution: Remove the rental fee. I own the modem. Ad hoc fee charges for my own property place them in breach of law.

Constant outages

Vyve bought out Northland a few years back and it's been a disaster ever since. I am actively looking for a new provider.

Internet, cable, phone all go out at least once a month if not more.

Customer service is a joke. Sure the people themselves try to be as helpful as they can, but their bosses restrict them with what they can actually do.

No attempts are made to improve service.

My cable box has had to be replaced twice in just six months because they only buy cheap poorly built one's.

Outages are often random too. It will go out at any time of day and remain off for hours until it magically comes back.

I have lost my patience and I regret that I took my anger out on an innocent woman at customer service.

And the same thing will happen to you, you'll find yourself angry and mean after a few months with this pitiful excuse for a company.

They were charging me since 2017 for home phone service I didnt have. It was listed as voice service 29.95 a month. Now it says phone service that wasnt there before my complaint. One of their billing agents caught it and all they want to give me is 83.00. I refused.

Horrible service.

Internet is out again. Tired of watching my TV buffering throughout the day. Takes 4 hours to watch a 2hour movie. I refuse to pay a $49.95 service fee for a service I already pay for every month. Now I have to wait days for someone to come fix my problem. This is sad. When you pay for a month's service you should receive what you pay for. That is called good business. Vyve is not a good business they are horrible. People should not be treated this way. Vyve you should be ashamed of your actions.

Channel not coming in - still!

Channel 5 has been unavailable for about six weeks. I have called and gone to the local office several times. They have never fixed the problem, nor contacted me with an update. Someone in Oklahoma took a work order, but the technician did not show up. All I have heard is that it is a broadcasting issue. Perhaps another company needs to broadcast? I just left a.message with the manager Curt Condit. Hope to hear soon that it is being repaired!

Billing dispute

I set up new internet service in 2021 for the first time. My address is 1600 W 4th st lot 8b Dequincy La 70633. In Oct of 2021 there was a write off charge of $346.95 added to my account. I contacted customer service and was told that I owed a bill on an address in Arkansas. I HAVE NEVER LIVED IN ARKANSAS NOR HAVE I EVER HAD VYVE SERVICES IN MY NAME ANYWHERE PRIOR TO THIS NEW SERVICE IN DEQUINCY LA. I have been to my local vyve office and was told they could not help me. I have called and called and emailed ever number i can find for Vyve and am told the SAME thing that someone will get back with me. its been months Ive been trying to resolve this and cant get any help.
